Full day trips

We set off from Dubai in the direction of Hatta and Oman, and once outside the confines of the city you quickly find yourself in desert scenery. We’re soon off-road and our 4×4s are put to the test as we head through some fine wadis and on into the Hajar mountains. You have a choice of picnic lunch, or a quick bite at the Hatta Fort Hotel. After a chance to relax we head off for a spell of ‘dune bashing’, where our skilful drivers take you up and over some of the largest sand dunes and you really get to grips with the terrain. We’ll call in at a camel farm to see these ‘ships of the desert’ in their element and, as sunset approaches, we park up to enjoy the beauty of the desert at dusk.  The full day tour is from 0900 to 1500 hrs.  The tour can also include a visit to the bedouin camp at an added cost.

Shorter tours:

a) Shared Dune Drive in 4×4 vehicle including Bedouin camp dinner and entertainment.
Duration: from 4pm to 10pm.
Numbers: Maximum of 6 per car; minimum of 2
Cost: Dhs 310 per person: NOW Dhs 220 per person until 31 May 2009

b) Exclusive Dune Drive including Bedouin camp dinner and entertainment
Duration: from 4pm to 10pm (please note pick up time varies according to sunset and will be advised on booking)
Numbers: Maximum of 6 per car
Cost: Dhs 1000 per car

c) Exclusive Dune Drive, with 1 hour off road quad biking and Bedouin camp dinner
Duration: from 4.30pm to 10pm
Numbers: Maximum of 6 per car. Quad biking to be shared (3 Bikes)
Cost: Dhs 1900 per car

d) Exclusive 4 hour Dune Bashing and Quad Biking experience (dinner not included)
Duration: 4 hour trip, available morning or afternoon
Numbers: Maximum of 6 per car. Quad biking to be shared (3 Bikes)
Cost: Dhs 1650 per car

e) Exclusive Sunset Dune drive, drinks at sunset (dinner not included)
Duration: From approx 4.30pm, 4 hours total, with 2 hours in dunes. (Please note pick up time varies according to sunset and will be advised on booking)
Numbers: Minimum of 2 people; maximum of 4.
Cost: Dhs 300 per person

f) Exclusive Dinner on a Dune. Just you, your discreet driver, and the stars. We set up a romantic dining area on a dune and while your driver prepares a fine BBQ, you and your partner enjoy the peaceful desert, the twinkling stars and an array of refreshments!
Duration: from 4.30pm to 10pm, or whatever time you decide to come back
